Building a community center out of a derelict blacksmith's shop on a industrial site next to the Oerlikon’s train station, with only bio-based and re-use materials? The Verein Labör gave itself this challenge and as of automne 2025 has achieved it, along side collabortions with CAS ETH in Regenerative Materials↗ and IG Lehm↗, even becoming the first project in Switzerland with sprayed hemp-clay insulation.
